The Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas will once again sponsor the "Rollin' on the River" 5K run/2k walk to benefit Easter Seals Arkansas. The event will take place Saturday, Aug. 28, in downtown Little Rock.
Other sponsors include Riley Warriors, Inc., a non-profit organization formed by family and friends of Riley McClanahan, the 5-year-old son of Robert McClanahan, AECC vice president of information technology. Riley, who is disabled and has attended Easter Seals Arkansas' pre-school program, was among those at a kick-off breakfast for the race at AECC/AECI headquarters on Wednesday.
