| That we would be able to retain the service of Dr. Boop. | YES. God sent Dr. Boop to the hospital the next day. We were able to meet with him and have him take charge of Riley's care. |
| That Riley would come through the surgery to clean out the ventricles OK and that further surgeries would be unnecessary. | YES. God brought Riley safely through and no further surgeries were necessary to clear the ventricles. |
| John Carroll prayed that Riley would be able to throw horseshoes with his Daddy at the Pleasant Valley Church Father-Son Outing. | WAIT. God will let us know in due time. |
| That Riley's drain would continue to function and allow the blood within his head to drain out. | YES. God opened the drain and allowed the blood to continue to drain out. It was interesting to see the different manners in which he answered our prayers and how he used this to increase our faith. |
| That we would be able to hold Riley again. | YES. God allowed us to hold him while he was still in PICU. |
| That Riley would be able to come home. | YES. We brought him home on March 1, 1999. |
| That Riley would not need a permanent shunt. | NO. Riley had shunt placement surgery on July 26, 2000. |
| That the normal function of Riley's eyes would return. | WAIT. God is still using this one to build us. |
| That God would make Riley whole. | WAIT. God is still using this one to build us. We'll see an answer in His time, not ours. |
| That his seizures would not return as he comes off the Phenobarbital. | YES. Riley came off of the medication with no ill effects. |
